The Universal Fit Worker Emergency ID (WSID-05) is the most versatile identification tag Vital ID makes. Instead of adhesive, it uses a silicone “stretch-ring” fitting system, so one product covers a whole workforce regardless of what PPE each person wears. It is the right choice for industries where hard hats are worn intermittently, or not at all.
The WSID-05 can be fitted to boots and shoes, hard hats, belts, harnesses, fall restraints, backpacks and zipper pulls. Wherever it is fitted, it stays with the worker — which is what matters when a first responder needs to know who they are treating, what medical conditions apply and who to call.
Inside is a fully waterproof ID card protected by a gasket-sealed lid, so recorded information survives water, dust and site chemicals. The concealed, protected high-strength hinge is built for long service life, and the tag withstands extreme heat and cold. Materials are non-conductive.
